I began working as a fiduciary when a client of the law firm where I worked needed assistance with bill paying, payroll, and investments. I worked with the client’s accountant, insurance consultant, and securities broker, and ultimately I served as executor of will throughout the probate process. This was 28 years ago. I am now a California Licensed Professional Private Fiduciary serving in Sacramento, Placer, and El Dorado Counties.
I served as a guardian for children who received an inheritance or who had an insurance settlement.
I have worked with young adults who were beneficiaries of a trust established by grandparents.
The majority of my clients, however, have been seniors. I have been chosen and served as a trustee or as an agent under a power of attorney, or as a conservator appointed by the Court.
I have been working with and for attorneys throughout my career. I have a background in probate (estates, guardianships, conservatorships, trust administration) and civil litigation as a paralegal.
My experience enables me to work effectively with family members and trust advisors, and I have been successful in negotiating family conflicts.
